Delta Presbyterian Church

Pastor: Rev. Wendy S. Pratt 

      Wendy is a veteran pastor who is excited about the opportunity to serve in her home state. She grew up in Taylor, Michigan and graduated from Albion College. After seminary at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Kentucky, she served an inner city congregation in Gary, Indiana for 10 years followed by 14 years in rural Venedocia, Ohio. She shares her life with her daughter, Lena. Over 20 years ago a member of the church called and asked her to take her almost 3 year old daughter "for the weekend". Five years into that weekend, Wendy officially adopted Lena.

Choir Director: Mark McElwee

        Mark has been involved in the Music Ministry at Delta since 1994 and has served in many capacities. He has been a member of the Celebration Choir, soloist, Singspiration Team member, and served as Worship Leader for our Contemporary Service. Mark holds a B.A. in Music from Alma College.

Director of Handbells: Holly Brock

        Holly Brock is the founder and director of Delta’s hand bell choir since 1994. The bell choir known as Delta’s Bellievers has 4 octaves of Malmark hand bells and 3 octaves of choir chimes. She and her husband David joined Delta in 1989. Holly has served as an elder and is now involved with the Mission Outreach committee and the Celebration committee.

Treasurer and Kids Hope USA Director:          Robert Potter

       After years of experience as chief financial officer in the non-profit, health care industry, Robert is pleased to have an opportunity to both serve God (in an administration function) and have fun, spending a few hours a month as a “bean counter”. An avocation he loves.

Administrative Assistant: Ellen Jackson

        Ellen is a member of Delta and she and her family have been attending the church since 1995. Before becoming our Administrative Assistant, she worked in the office as Financial Secretary for many years. Ellen sings with the Celebration Choir and has been a member of the Bellievers Handbell Choir. She has also helped with VBS and been involved with numerous other church projects. Delta has been a wonderful support for her and a very caring church family.

Librarian: Gudrun Cruz

 Financial Secretary and Website Coordinator:  Sarah Dymond

        Sarah has been attending DPC since 1989. She has served as an Elder and has volunteered in a variety of capacities including children's ministry, ringing with the Bellievers, and assisting with audio and video components of worship. In 2008, she became the Financial Secretary and also took on the role of Website Coordinator.
