Music has always been an important part of worship at Delta.

The Celebration Choir

Celebration Choir

The Celebration Choir, was first organized in the spring of 1976. The choir is currently a group of about 22 members.  During the year, choral selections range from four to eight part harmony with genres ranging from Bach to Spirituals. If you'd like to join the choir, they rehearse Thursday nights at 7:30 pm.

The Bellievers Handbell Choir

 The Bellievers

The Bellievers, Delta’s handbell choir, was established in 1994 with a generous donation and memorial gifts. It began with two octaves of Mallmark bells, and a year later the third octave was added with honorary and memorial gifts. After the death of one of its ringers, the choir donated a three octave set of Malmark Choirchimes as a memorial. Additional gifts and memorials have allowed the choir to add the bells necessary to complete the 4th octave of the set. As another memorial the choir purchased beautiful wind chimes and stand. The choir is a member of the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers (AGEHR) and annually participate in the Lansing Area Ministry of Bells (LAMB) Spring Ring Workshop and Concert. Generally, the Bellievers ring once a month during Sunday morning worship. They have played a yearly Christmas concert for the community since 2000. If you're interested in joining the bell choir, rehearsals are Thursday nights at 6:15 pm.
