Worship at Delta combines many traditional and contemporary elements. Our worship space itself is non-traditional. In place of stained-glass windows, banners were made by members of our congregation and are a special and beautiful addition to our worship space.
Over the years, we have developed what is usually called a "blended" worship style that combines both "modern" and "traditional" elements into one service. Worship begins with a call to worship and "Singspiration," which is more upbeat worship music. In keeping with our sanctuary, the rest of the worship service tends to be informal and include a good deal of involvement by the members of the church. From September through June, the Celebration Choir shares anthems with the congregation, and once a month the Bellievers Bell Choir also joins in the service.
Communion is taken by "intinction." The members of the congregation come forward and dip the Bread into the Cup. We practice open communion, and all believers in Christ are welcome at the Table.
Worship begins at 10 am and normally ends by 11:05 to 11:15 am.

On Sunday, February 19, Wendy's sermon, "Entertaining Angels," will use 2 Kings 2:1-12 and Mark 9:2-9. We will celebrate Communion and Baptism, as well as collecting for the Personal Needs Closet. Please join us for the Fellowship Meal following the service.Mt. Hope Presbyterian Church has invited us to an evening of food and fellowship on Fat/Shrove Tuesday, February 21, from 6-8 pm.
